In order to make things as they used to be, we have modified DollarLink to combine the price parts of the Dow-Jones Industrials quote with the volume part of relevant volume-specific quotes in order to have the total NYSE volume displayed as part of the Dow-Jones Industrials.
On the Signal datafeed, if you add the symbol $TVOL to your active DollarLink portfolio, then the total NYSE volume will be part of the $INDU symbol. The $TVOL is the total NYSE volume symbol on the Signal feed. The $DJ symbol will continue to display the Dow-30 total volume. If $TVOL is missing from the active DollarLink portfolio, then the $INDU quote will revert to showing the Dow-30 total volume.
On the BMI datafeed, if you add the symbols $AVSNA , $AVSND and $AVSNU to your active DollarLink portfolio, then the total NYSE volume will be part of the $INDU symbol. $AVSNA , $AVSND and $AVSNU are the up, down and unchanged volumes for the NYSE on the BMI feed. If $AVSNA , $AVSND or $AVSNU is missing from the active DollarLink portfolio, then the $INDU quote will revert to showing the Dow-30 total volume.
DollarLink, however, will continue to support the $DJ quote by generating it from the broadcast $INDU quote. Thus, to summarize, the $DJ quote using DollarLink is identical to the $INDU except that in the volume field it displays the Dow-30 volume whereas $INDU displays the total NYSE volume (assuming you have $TVOL in your DollarLink portfolio; if you don't, then the $DJ quote is completely identical to the $INDU and they both display the Dow-30 volume).
