Enhancements Added

Full Range for $TICK, $TICKQ, $TICKA The markets have become very volatile. It is now common to see an intraday swing from +100 to -100 for the Dow-Jones Industrials. Correspondingly, the Tick indicators ( $TICK on NYSE, $TICKQ on NASDAQ, $TICKA on Amex) are exhibiting extreme ranges. It is also common these days to see, say, TICKQ to be -2100 or +2300.

Until now, DollarLink's numeric conventions prevented the Tick indicators to exceed +1600 or -1600. In the old days this was OK because it didn't happen very often. Because of the increased volatility, we have modified DollarLink and it now displays whatever extreme a Tick indicator wants to be.

NYSE volume over 1 billion The day after the October 27 crash the trading volume on the NYSE exceeded one billion. Because of its internal constraints, DollarLink limited its display to 1 billion no matter how high the trading volume went. (It did store the numbers properly.)

We have since modified DollarLink to display the volume even if it goes over a billion.
