Decimalization of NYSE Stocks

As of January 29, 2001 New York Stock Exchange is sending out its quotes in decimals. Before, the quotes were sent out in a fractional format. The NASDAQ is planning to go decimal sometime in March 2001 as well.

Because of the decimalization we had to modify DollarLink to be able to process this new format. After testing the changes we have a new upgrade. Now DollarLink can handle either the old fractional format or the new decimal format.

The new upgrade is now available to currently active customers to download from our website. Active customers are defined as current renters, all purchasers within the last 12 months, or purchasers who have paid the $300 support fee within the last 12 months. Contact us if you wish to check or change your status.

The operation of DollarLink has not changed and it should continue to work the same way after the upgrade. You will have to run our SETUP utility to customize DollarLink the way you want it. Again, before doing the upgrade, write down the various settings in DollarLink that you currently are using, i.e., your various passwords, serial port settings, number of graph pages, FM channels, baud rates, graphics adapter type, etc.
